i disagree, i think its never been a better time for software artisanship, to finally stop being bogged down with implementation technicalities (which are important in their own right but not always the level of abstraction one would want to be in) and instead compose at a systems level, working across interfaces/boundaries between different types of information systems, with the details taken care of by stochastic coding parrots who no doubtedly "fake it till you make it" for most part, something useful in its own right
general purpose natural language interface, NLI, means we can create "software with personality", and unify all forms of sequences eg. equations (math, physics, latex, etc.), natural languages, programming languages, protein sequences, dna sequences, tool call JSONs without loss of generality, now imagine what you can build with that
it is starting to appear slowly that the game is not building just pure software anymore, but more creating art, drawing on a canvas, telling a story, where every stroke is done via AI as an extension of the human self, a different way of talking to the machine from a certain point of view

since when did we have the capability to generate enough bytes at the scale that one would need to do so to synthesize this as a human programmer, let alone figure out the implementation/LLD.md details themselves as well, the cognitive tax would have generally caused a lot of friction, to stich together enough tools/data to get this done, to context switch across types/categories in a very information/category theory centric sense
